Hi guys! I'm gothybeans renamed. :) I have a few things to show you today!
Firstly my >> sales and auctions << are ending on Tuesday! Anything that doesn't sell will likely not be offered again, so snatch up or offer on anything you fancy. I have added a couple more items and lots to sales. A sample:
And my auctions need bids/homes! Here are just two, there are many nice things up for grabs! Eevees, Mews, Dialgas and more.
Nextly I made a new friend this week - a little Pikachu. On Thursday I was not having a good day at all - some days are very nervy for me. The best way to deal was to go out with my friend for a walk, so we went to the town's market. I live in the hills of Derbyshire, so nearby towns are tiny!
In the lower half of the market, there are a lot of shabby second hand stalls. On a junk toy stall I saw a little yellow ear. I reached over and pulled out a 12 inch Pikachu! Poke-radar!
I didn't take any "before" pictures. He was nearly black with dirt, his paws and tail were ripped from their stitched positions, but he was soft. Soft and £1.00! I did the best repair and clean I could. He did go in the machine because he smelled gross!
He is a Japanese Takara Tomy! He should be touching his cheeks symmetrically but I like him better this way.
Here he is with a little Riolu from a recent Staircase GA. Little Riolu was very tattered and had a wrecked Christmas stocking and hat. We cleaned him too, he was obviously very loved by a child once, so I give him a good forever home.
Hugging Pikachu once he was clean gave me a great sense of calm. I think he has been on a long adventure, all the way from Japan to a child here, then to a small market town.
What's your story, Pikachu? I'm sure we'll never know.
Lastly, if you took part in the Socky Socky GA, we expect it to arrive on Monday (tomorrow)! We will have shipping quotes this week. Mum is a bit sick so I can't say it will be tomorrow, she does the weighing and shipping, I handle the payments and wrangling you guys. ;)
It got caught by Customs sadly, I'm not sure why. :( Luckily the cost will not be high per person.
