So. Dramatic backstory is required first, obviously. I was taking my rambunctious dog to the doggy park this morning, and on our way back I passed by a yard sale. I'd seen it before- the man there hoarded out his small home, which, may I add, is on the main road, so he brought all his stuff outside on his lawn to sell about a month ago. When I went the first weekend he had it, he claimed he never owned any Pokemon and all I saw was piles of junk and a mangled Super Nintendo, so I left that day filled with sadness and other sad feelings. Whatever didn't sell that weekend was left out in the rain to rot until today, when he was having another sale.
I only turned around to go to it because either my eyes were playing tricks on me, or a Pokemon in distress was on his curb and literally inches away from being run over by speeding cars. So I sped back
I've already checked over/washed him of course; the poor thing is still in pretty bad shape. How could someone leave a 'mon as cute as Marill out in the rain?! (He wasn't there the first time I went, so he must've been out there for at least a week or two.)
I think he's a cuddle pillow, but I'm not completely sure as I haven't seen many of Marill around.
To make this less boring, post your Pokemon rescue stories in the comments, if you have any! I'd love to read some of your guys's experiences. Thanks for reading!
