I've bought a bunch of stuff over this month and have been waiting to show it off until I had a lot of images. So here they are! Umbreon Pitapoke and Ippia and lots of Tomys! Lots more pictures under the cut. Also, another group shot of all my umbreons with my two new additions.
I also have a question about storing packaging and box art under a separate cut if anyone is interested.
First, here are the ones I'm most excited about, The Umbreon Ippia and Pitapoke figures. The pitapoke came from Sunyshore, and the Ippia figure came from
kitzune I also got some stickers and a little custom drawing with the ippia figure. I really love it!
The pitapoke is so tiny (see the penny for size reference) but it is very cute and has amazing detail. I especially like all the little designs on his base and the package.
The umbreon Ippia figure looks so funny from a straight on view! It is better from different angles though. It is a very sturdy figure with a nice paint job, about the size of a Tomy Monster collection figure.
He came with some stickers, these were a surprize!
Kitzune also sent a little custom drawing with my order. I love it!
Now for the Tomys. I got a bunch on clearance at a Target the other day while on a trip, then I checked my local Target when I got back home to find they had a few from the new set out, so I got a couple of those too!
I'm a bit disappointed that the Meloetta Pirouette form doesn't stand on it's own. I think it has a deformity in the base. I like them overall though.
I Forgot to take a picture of some of them. Here is a group picture of all my gets though:
The new figures came with a small poster.
Comparison shots of the old and new Eevee. Wow, the color on the old one was pale!
My small but growing Umbreon figure collection.
I had to include a group shot of all my Umbreons!
Thanks for reading!
I like to keep the packaging of my figures if I can open them without damaging it, but they are piling up in my closet and I don't know exactly what to do with them. I had thought about using the big Tomy boxes to display figures or art somehow, because I like the design, But I don't know exactly how I would set it up yet.
My question is, do any of you have creative ways of using or displaying packaging or box art in your collections? I'd love to see it if you do!
