Nidoqueen: I've only seen a couple of these on the internet. Why is it that when I don't have money, all of the cool stuff shows up?
Ninetales: This one isn't common, but it isn't incredibly rare. I want it because I have Vulpix.
Arcanine: This one is not as rare as Ninetales, but I still want it.
Voltorb and Electrode: 100 dollars? Ain't nobody got dimes for that! I still try to look for them in lots on eBay, but I can't seem to find ones that are actually legit. The ones that do surface are usually eaten up by other bidders.
Magmar: I have Magby, so I kind of want this one. It seems pretty rare.
Pinsir: Seems pretty rare. I bought a bootlegged one on accident from pokemonzone.
Zubat and Golbat: I have Crobat (I'm so lucky!). I found a Golbat on eBay the other day. It was 85 dollars. Zubat was also located for 13 dollars and I might buy it sometime soon.
Dittochu: I have Ditto (another lucky find). This is less of an issue of rarity than price. I have a very constricted budget (usually no more than 50 dollars for the incredibly rare figures and less than 5 for things like Caterpie).
Forretress: I have Pineco. I hate having incomplete lines. If only they released the entire Gen 2 as battle figures in the U.S. That way, these figures wouldn't be incredibly hard to find.
Yanma: The reason why I don't have this is the same reason as Electrode and Voltorb's reason as well as Dittochu's, coupled with rarity.
Magcargo, Noctowl, Misdreavus, Pupitar, Gligar, Houndour, and Phanpy: Same reason as Forry. These are all the last members I need to complete their respective lines. I know where Gligar is, but I have other buying priorities before I buy it. Magcargo was located on eBay around Christmas 2011, but sadly, 20 people bid on it and the price shot up to oblivion (30 dollars from the 3 dollar starting bid).
Porygon2 and Ursaring: This is a facepalm worthy story and I think my worst failure as a collector. I have Teddiursa and Porygon TOMYs, so I want to have these so I can have their complete TOMY line. I found a Porygon2 100% legit TOMY figure for 3 dollars on eBay. This was years and years ago, probably around 2010. For all y'all who aren't well-versed in TOMY rarity and pricing, Porygon2 can go for upwards of 20 or 30 dollars. I also found an Ursaring for 4 dollars, when it is easily worth more than 15. The reason why I didn't buy them? The seller had a single bootleg (one of those awful Hua Nyugz figures) in their shop. This was a long, long time ago, and I was not able to tell if the Porygon2 and Ursaring were legit or not. Knowing what I know now, I now know that not only were they both legit, Porygon2 was also incredibly rare and I could've gotten it for a steal. The worst part? It was a BIN listing that stayed online for a good month. I am ashamed of myself and I have to live with this decision for the rest of my life.
Girafarig, Corsola, Mantine, and Tyrogue: They're all very rare and they didn't make it to the U.S. I found Girafarig on eBay for like 3 dollars, but sadly, the price didn't stay that way for very long.
Ho-oh: I want the big 3 inch one, since I have a 3 inch version of Lugia. Another huge eBay screw up is the reason why I don't have this: I found one for 0.99 (starting price) and I forgot to bid on it. Someone else got it.
Celebi: I need this so I can have all of the Gen 2 legendaries (bar Ho-oh).
I will try to take pictures. I do not own a camera for some reason.
Also, one thing: I have never used Yahoo Japan. Ever. I want to start though, since I found one of the figures that I REALLY want and the auction ends next week. What deputy services do you guys think are the best in terms of pricing. I heard FromJapan is really nice price-wise, but I'm trying to shop around.
That's all folks. Until next time, America. Bye, have a beautiful time!
