I have a question about possible solutions for yellowing plastic. If you have suggestions check out the pics under the cut!
I got this lovely clear Jakks Latias on ebay for a good price. I really like it (especially as I'm developing a taste for clear figures), but as you can see, she's suffering from a ton of yellowing! It actually doesn't look quite as bad in real life as it does in the pictures, but you get the idea.
I've heard that hydrogen peroxide + sunlight may fix this. I haven't tried this yet - mostly because we aren't getting a ton of reliable sunlight in the winter. But I wanted to ask if anyone has had success with this or other methods, has recommendations, whatever. Especially if you've owned this figure in particular. The plastic is very rubbery so I'm not sure if it would be quite the same as something with a hard surface.
