Commission Time!

Hello my lovely fellow collectors!
In celebration of being granted sales permission on Saturday (and being on break from school for a week WOOHOO) I've decided to open up 3 slots for glass commissions!

Sales permission granted on March 21, 2015 by areica96.

-My feedback can be found here
-I will not sell to people banned from the community.
-I take PayPal only, sorry for any inconvenience.
-Payment must be sent within 48 hours of when I ask you to send it. Let me know in advance if you would like to do a payment plan, and I may be able to make arrangements.
-I ship from the state of Wisconsin.
-Prices are in USD.
-Shipping costs start at $5.
-Shipping is not included in prices, and the price of shipping will include the cost of a CD sized or other small sized box for shipping. This is the best way I have found to ship glass items and ensure they arrive in one piece. I do apologize for the additional cost.
-This round I will not be shipping outside of the US. This will probably not be the case the next time I decide to do commissions, whenever that may be.
-I reserve the right to deny you a slot if I feel that you have not read both my sales rules and commission rules. This can be avoided by thoroughly reading and including my secret word in your comment.

Commission Rules!
This is the most important part of this post!
-Starting price for a 4x4" tile- $75 (This covers all materials and my time, but does not include shipping.)
-I am able to do other sizes, please ask for a price quote if you would like something larger or highly detailed.
-Since I spend a lot of my time shaping the glass, more detailed pieces require a lot more time. This may increase the price.
-I am UNABLE to get glass in pink. Please do not ask me to make a pink pokemon for you, as it is not doable. I am able to substitute the pink for another color, so let me know if this is something you are interested in. (Ex. Cleffa, but please substitute the pink for light blue!)
-The color range of glass is not extensive, so I will take the time to carefully hash out the details with you and ensure that we are both happy with the design and colors before payment changes hands. Please note that it could take a few rounds of comments for us to have the same mental picture.
-There is a minimum of one week from the time I complete your piece to the time I am able to ship it out. This is due to the piece being fired in the kiln and the possibility that I will refire it. (If I decide that the piece would look better refired, I will contact you first to get your permission.)
-Include the word 'fire' in your comment if you have read and understood all of my rules.
-There are three different ways a piece can be fired: tack, contour, and full. Tack fuse leaves the piece close to it's unfired form- very bumpy with little to no apparent melting. Contour leaves all edges rounded, giving a slightly melted look. Full makes the entire piece almost the same thickness (1/4" roughly) and rounds all edges. See examples below. This detail can be hashed out after you have committed to a slot.
-All tiles can have hooks added for no extra charge.

Snoopy (7" circle) and Tree (long suncatcher size), both pre-firing. Unfortunately both were gifts and I do not have photos or definite dimensions of the final products.
Pre-Fused Tree & Snoopy Suncatchers

Ariel Tsum Tsum tile, contour fused. Note: her cheeks are actually from a piece of red transparent marbled glass. It was only out of sheer luck that I was able to find two small pieces of this color.
Contour Ariel Tsum Tsum

Ariel tile, "drawn" with ground up glass (frit) and full fused.

Jirachi tile, contour fused.

Snowman suncatcher, contour fused with words written in frit.

Manatee suncatcher (6" square), contour fused.

The top and bottom pictures are not 4x4 tiles, but I think they're good examples of what I'm capable of as an artist. There are a few other photos in my lj scrapbook if you'd like to browse some more.

Thanks for reading this far! I'm so excited to have sales permission in our wonderful community. :)
I'm ecstatic about finally being able to see more of my art in the wild, and I hope you are all equally excited about being able to add something different to your collection.
