Look there, on the horizon! It's a ... MIRAGE!

Hello all! So although my hot plate keychain get was very exciting for me, something even more exciting happened a few days later! And it resulted in this beautiful not-so little guy that I retrieved from the post office this morning:

Yes, that's right. It's a Vulpix mirage plush! But wait, he looks a little familiar you say? Well, that's because this fox has been featured on the community before! rypeltajaroll contacted me and graciously offered to sell me one of her two Vulpix mirage plush. I was thrilled! We've only seen two of these elusive plush EVER, and to have the chance to own one of them is a great honor. Since he came from such a wonderful collector friend/rival, I've decided to keep the name Roll gave him, although I've opted to use the spelling that is usually used for the constellation: Aries! <3

I took quite a few photos of my wonderful new friend, so you all can enjoy this foxy fellow from many different angles!

Side view! His fur is so soft and in great condition, and he's stuffed with a soft stuffing as well.

His expression is very much, "What are you looking at? o.o"

<3 Beautiful face and nose. I love his puff of hair in the front! I may get a blue bandana and put it around his neck like the mystery dungeon Vulpix has!

Pawsies! They're so detailed, they even have little toe toe marks. And that white belly! We can't be sure of the age of this plush, but I'm guessing he is from the late 90s. You'd never know from how clean he looks! He was well cared for in both of his previous homes. :)

Those tails!

Detailed stiching on the tails!

You can see they all are separate! A lot of the Vulpix plush (including my favorite, the Tomy laying Vulpix) opt to have a fan of tails instead of separate ones. Not this guy!

I took very clear photos of the tag, since that's our only clue as to where he's from! He has very official marks, including Nintendo, Gamefreak, Tv Tokyo, Shoppro, and Jr Kikaku. He also has the CE mark, which is a standard mark on European toys. o_o Since both of the mirage plush that have been found were from Japan, it's hard to say if this is a European toy that somehow made its way to Japan in both cases, or a Japanese toy!

And here he is with Saki, my Tomy laying Vulpix plush! You can see the vast color differences. Aries is much more muted and brown, whereas Saki uses the orange pallet.

And since Aries is a boy, and Saki is a girl, I now have a cute little Vulpix pair! <3 <3 <3

The tail differences! Saki takes the "easy way out" with the fan of tails, but they're both darling. <3

And here's the whole Vulpix family! :D All of the known official plush together in one place.

Another arrangement. I went a little overboard with photos. XD

In non-plush related news, I receive my green metal Vulpix from swampeh and digi's GA! :D I'm so thrilled to have a new color to add to my metal collection. I also recently got a new blue figure, since my old one had more chips on it. The older blue one is available for trade for the purple or silver figure. :)

I also managed to get a Jigglypuff amiibo! :D She's so cute.

Anyway, I guess that's all for this epic post! <3 Thank you again, Roll-chan, for giving me the opportunity to have Aries! <3 He'll be well-cared for here with my Vulpix family. I'm beyond thrilled to say that my plush collection for Vulpix (for the time being!) is complete! ^__^

Thanks for reading!
