Things have been rather hectic these past few months. I graduated from high school and am making necessary preparations for starting college this fall--so exciting!--not only that, but I moved in with my father last month and lugged all of my collections with me--it took me weeks to unpack everything, and it's only now starting to feel like home! Plus I got a new job this past winter that took quite a bit of time to become accustomed to. So from school, work, and everything else, Pokémon took the back seat for a little bit. I am happy to announce my return, however!
So to those who might be newer here or have otherwise forgotten: I collect Glaceon! I've got some photos of my current display that I'm very eager to share.
One of the biggest losses in moving was the amount of space I have--so unfortunately a lot of my collection is in storage. I collect anime figures in addition to Pokémon, so those ended up taking most of the shelf space I have available. I did make a point of leaving room for my precious ice-foxes, though!
The set-up is a little different from my previous display--the shelf I had before doesn't fit in my new space, so I had to work with a new unit. I am very surprised with how well they fit--and with just enough space for any newcomers!
All of my figures! Here I have displayed some of my most prized possessions, such as the shiny and clear Kids, Chupa Chups figure, and Keshipoke. I received the acrylic shelving as a gift this past Christmas--everything fits perfectly on it, and I absolutely love how it looks!
The bottom shelf where I have stuffed most of my plush (no pun intended).
Got my Chespins chilling on the top here.
I hate this shelf. It's shallow and ugly. So, so ugly. God, it's just awful. I don't know who ever thought this was a good idea. But it's built into the wall and was here when we bought the place, so there's really nothing we can do about it.
My Poké Dolls just barely fit on it, however, so I figured I could have them displayed here since there's no room for them elsewhere. They make it look a bit better, I suppose. Better than having them packed away in a cardboard box. ;^;
Right next to my deplorable-excuse-of-a-shelf I have these guys on my bean bag--I didn't have anywhere else to put them. ^^; I'm planning on taking a few of them with me to college so I can clear up some space for the rest of my plush in storage and give them the love they deserve.
Just a short post from me today--I'd love to hear what you think of everything! Now that I'm back into the swing of things I've got a few things on the way, so do expect an update soon!
I'm also tampering with the idea of doing commissions: I haven't quite figured out the details yet, but please do feel free to check out my portfolio here and let me know what your impressions are so I can know if there's potential interest!
Thanks so much for reading! :D
