I didn't see many "reviews" or posts about the Pokemon Center Cookie Tins and I've always wondered how the cookies look + taste like.
So for my very first cookie tin I'll do a little review about it. ヽ(*・ω・)ﾉ
The top of the tin! I had to increase the brightness a little so you could see the detail of the background. There's sihoulettes of Gastly in the black portions, and they look really cool. The words "Ghost Show" and the gold parts kind of shimmer a little but I couldn't capture it well. And with Chandelure!!! A++++ tin there's nothing else I need (except maybe the cookies).
Side views of the tin!. There's actually the Gastly sihoulette pattern on the black parts here as well, it's just not as obvious. I love the art of the ghost pokemon here! They're all staring straight into your soul (⊙_⊙)
Litwick on one side...
Bannette on the other!
Now onto the cookies! There's 8 packets of cookies in total, and only 1 cookie inside each packet. So one tin contains 8 cookies! The inside of the tin has no patterns.
The front of the cookie packaging! Gastlys everywhere.
And the back of it!
Here's the cookie!!!! It doesn't look like much but it's pretty good. The front is this dark brownish colour but the back-
kind of looks like bread? The cookie itself is really cripsy. The texture is kind of like Bread Pan, if anyone's ever tried that before.
The dark brown part tastes like caramel. The back of the cookie is buttery. I personally don't fancy too much caramel, but this is fine. At least it isn't bland!
Overall Rating for the Ghost Show! Cookie Tin: 9/10
I love ghost types and this purple/red/gold/black colour scheme, so the tin itself is wonderful. If the cookies had some sort of pattern to them it would've been a bit better (like the eeveelution cookies which had faces), but I guess this would've made the retail price go up.
So what do you think? How many of you have purchased/will purchase this tin? :3 I hope this was useful to some people!
Happy early-Halloween everyone!!! Looking forward to emptying my pocket for Mystery Mansion.
