Reintro, and a rare item up for bids!

Hi everyone!

I'm PacificPikachu, and I've been a member of this community since the day it began! I've admittedly gotten quite lax with posting over the last few years, despite still being a very active collector, so I'm here to post a) a reintro, and b) post an auction for a very rare Pokédoll.

I have a pretty large collection that includes many different types of items. My most serious collections are Umbreon and surfing Pikachu, but I also have tons of other things I collect: Mew, Eevee and Eeveelutions in general, 1/1 scale plushes, cels and production art from the anime, Ash and Misty items, and tons of different Pokémon, like Minccino, Lapras, Chikorita, Buizel, Togekiss and Togetic, Pikachu and family, Dragonite, Azumarill, Larvitar, Shaymin, the canine Pokémon in general, water types, bird Pokémon, and more.

I currently run a fairly popular Pokémon Tumblr blog, Pokescans, which includes scans of pretty much anything Pokémon that I can fit in my scanner, including books, clearfiles, postcards, production art, stickers, and way more. It's sort of a Pokémon official art archive, and I've been working on it for around three years now. I've been astounded by the response to it! I also sometimes post non-flat items, just to show them off.

Sadly, I'm at a point where my collection is too large for the room it must inhabit at this point, so it's not nearly as organized and nicely displayed as I'd like, but at least everything is kept very clean, albeit cluttered by necessity. (Note that despite the bed, this is a collection room--I don't live in it!) The clutter drives me up the wall to be honest, but I am not interested in downsizing my collection either, so at this point there's not much I can do. I actually would like to run a small Pokémon museum of some sort someday--not as a career goal or anything like that, but just for the fun of it, as a hobby. I am very excited to be able to properly display my whole collection again at some point, when it doesn't have to be stuffed into just one room! I frequently want to post collection updates and whatnot, but the truth is that the size of my collection makes this difficult--I never seem to know where to start!

If you'd like to see some individual shots of some of the items in my collection, you can go through the my collection tag on Pokescans here!

The 40" Pokémon Center Pikachu and the 45 inch carnival plush, along with my corgi Honey and guest appearance by Arceus.

The fairly large closet is quite full, as I have a fondness for large plush, especially 1/1 scale plush.

Some, but not nearly all, of my Pokémon books!

Anyway, thanks for reading, and let me know if you have any questions!

I also have a super rare 2002 New York Pokémon Center Gengar Pokédoll up for auction here. He ends a week from today, on September 23rd, at 7 PM PST/10 PM EST. Please check him out--he would make an awesome addition to any Pokédoll or Gengar collection! This is an extremely elusive plush and I'm hoping he'll go to a home where he'll be appreciated. (Also, the reason for the starting price being so high is that this is an offer I've already received.)
