I've only been a member of the community for a few weeks now, but I think in this short time I've come down with a bad case of newbie syndrome... Between being SUPER excited about getting accepted into the community *YAY* and Pokemon's 20th Anniversary, I've gone a little (maybe more than a little) crazy and made a lot of purchases over the past few weeks. I think it's out of my system now (for the most part) and I would like to share my exciting gets with everyone :D
Please be aware that my post will be fairly picture heavy. 'Pastel' Pikachu will help guide you!
Here's a family photo! All of my new gets together :D I apologize that the lighting in my room isn't the greatest, but it gets the job done :P
I purchased this Raichu Pokedoll from eBay. I incited a bidding war, and luckily I won! He was a lucky find, and was MWT! I was REALLY lucky to get ahold of a Shiny Beams Anniversary Pikachu Plush, courtesy of one of the community members :) And the Pika Santa was purchased from eBay by my boyfriend as an Anniversary present :)
I purchased this adorable keychain, which goes with my Fennekin Pokedoll, from eBay. I love how it has the tag art and mini shopping bag. SO cute!!
I got Pokedoll figures to go with my Pokedolls. They are SOO cute!!! I love how they come with stands, but they're not attached to the stand, so you can display it alone if you want to. These all came from different places :P
Who is that peeking from behind my pillow? It's a 2012 PokeCen Umbreon Plush (MWT, I might add!) along with a Suicune Pokedoll, and Umbreon Banpresto Plush (which happens to be my newest addition :D) I got the PokeCen Plush from SunyShore, Suicune from eBay, and BP Umbreon from a community member.
I was really happy when I found out that the Mew Poke Plush came to the US Pokemon Center's website! I snatched one up, and also got a Sanei Mew from JapanVideoGames.com.
Here is my Fennekin Pokedoll I mentioned before (MWT, from eBay) along with a Japanese PokeCen Vulpix Plush. She is very special to me... One of the community members picked her up from the Pokemon Center :'D I got a Sanei Eevee Plush from JapanVideoGames.com, and Eevee Pokedoll from another community member :)
Last but not least, I have a Japanese PokeCen Flareon Plush that I got from JapanStuffs.com, and Flareon/Leafeon Pokedolls that I got from a community member. I have to say, Leafeon is probably my favorite. She is SOOO adorable <3
This Torchic was actually one of my anniversary presents to my boyfriend. I found him at Target :) I was really excited to find a PokeCen plush there, as they are few and far between. I love the way this picture came out, despite the bad lighting!
Here are some up-close pictures of my Eeveelution Pokedoll figures, out of their boxes. They are so little and adorable :D
Edit: I have been taking the hang tags off all my Plush, so I don't damage them, and so I can cuddle them as much as I want :) I actually found some of the plastic loops that attach the hang tag to the tush tag on Amazon. I think I got like 1,000 of them for $5 with Prime shipping. I have tested them out, and they do in fact work (without needing any tools, I should mention!) I figured I would share this with everyone, because attaching the hang tag to the tush tag could increase the value of the Plush if you are selling it :D
I will be visiting my friend in Washington starting next Saturday, and I'm making a point to visit at least one of the PokeCen kiosks there. I'm stoked, and will make sure to take lots of pictures to share with you guys <3
Well, that's all folks! Thanks for reading :D
