2017 was quite fruitful. They still made some US-exclusive figures alongside a handful of imports. The waits were long, but worth it.
The 6" line was a great highlight, giving us Snorlax, Koko and Ash-Greninja. Best of all, they were able to release about 98% of what was shown. Not too big a loss compared to 2016's never to be seen Megas.
RIP in piece forever...;_;, but 2017 fulfilled a majority of the catalog without some Anniversary distraction.
And without further ado, here is what is known to be the last wave of toys before Wicked Cool takes over
So far so good, and that's as far as it might go. 1" Bounsweet, Stufful, the Jangmoo/Sandshrew 2-pack; 3" A-Raichu and Marowak, new eeveelution 3-packs, and separate releases for the starters.
And that's it for Tomy USA apparently. The lost license may help them gain/focus more on other properties, but what about Wicked Cool's handling of the pokemon license? Whatever happens, i only for good things to come in the future.
